Besides the Tramontina 3PK Knife Set with Util, Paring and Santoku, Costco also carries Tramontina 3PK Knife Set with 8” Chef, 3” Paring and 6” Fillet. If you process fish yourself, this would be a better choice. I personally prefer this pack for two other reasons,
- the Utility knife in the other pack seems not much useful
- Chef’s knife is easier to sharpen as the blade is straighter than Santoku. The tip of Chef is not as tapered which makes it easier to maintain angle near the tip.
Made in Brazil and packed in USA, this Tramontina 3PK Knife Set has the following features:
- Stain-free, High-Carbon Steel
- Fine Edge
- Ergonomic Polypropylene Handles
- Dishwasher safe
- NSF International Compliant
